PRIVACY POLICY

1. Overview

BrawlUp is not affiliated with Supercell. Player data is sourced from the official Brawl Stars API and is publicly available. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.

2. Data We Collect

We do not collect: passwords in plain text (handled by Supabase Auth), payment card numbers, precise geolocation, or any biometric data.

3. How We Use It

• Provide and improve the BrawlUp service — tier lists, coaching, leaderboards
• Authenticate your account and keep sessions secure
• Display your BrawlScore history and trend charts (Pro feature)
• Send transactional emails (login links, email confirmations) — no marketing emails without explicit opt-in
• Detect and prevent abuse or bot traffic via Cloudflare Turnstile
• Aggregate anonymous analytics to understand which features are used most

We do not use your data for behavioural advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

4. Third Parties

We do not integrate Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any cross-site behavioural advertising trackers.

5. Local Storage & Cookies

BrawlUp uses browser localStorage (not traditional HTTP cookies) to store:

• brawlup_last_tag — the last player tag you searched
• brawlup_recent_tags — up to 10 recent player tag searches
• BrawlUp-theme — your dark/light mode preference
• brawlup_consent_v2 — records your analytics consent choice

This localStorage data never leaves your device automatically — it is not sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time via Browser DevTools → Application → Local Storage → Clear.

Supabase Auth uses a session token stored in localStorage to keep you logged in. Clearing localStorage will log you out.

Google Analytics 4 (analytics cookies)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. GA4 may set first-party cookies (e.g. _ga) to measure visits and key actions such as searching a player tag or viewing a BrawlScore.

We run GA4 under Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage denied by default:

• In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, no analytics cookies are set until you click Accept in our consent banner. If you reject, GA4 receives only aggregated, cookieless signals.
• Elsewhere, analytics is enabled with notice and you can opt out at any time via the banner's Reject option.
• We do not enable personalized advertising signals, and analytics IP addresses are anonymized.

6. Minors

BrawlUp is intended for users of all ages who play Brawl Stars. However, we collect age during sign-up and require parental or guardian consent for any in-app purchases made by users under 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent (COPPA). If you believe your child has created an account without consent, contact us at proyectos@quatricsv.com and we will delete the account promptly.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR (EU/EEA) and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete data (via Account Settings)
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Restriction — ask us to stop processing your data in certain circumstances
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting prior processing

8. Data Retention

• Account data — retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
• BrawlScore history — retained for the life of the account. Exported on request.
• Anonymous analytics — retained for up to 24 months in aggregated form.
• LocalStorage data — stored in your browser indefinitely until you clear it.

9. Policy Changes

We may update this policy as BrawlUp evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required by law, notify you by email.

Continued use of BrawlUp after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
