WHERE OUR DATA COMES FROM

01 The Official Brawl Stars API

Every player and battle figure on BrawlUp comes from the official Brawl Stars API provided by Supercell at developer.brawlstars.com.

This is the same public API that Supercell offers to developers. It is the authoritative source for player profiles, brawler data, battle logs, rankings, and club information. We use it directly, with our own API key, rather than copying data from other sites.

02 What We Pull

  • Player profiles when you look up a tag: trophies, brawlers, and progress.
  • Battle logs: the recent matches a profile has played, used both for your own analysis and, in aggregate, for meta stats.
  • Brawler catalogue: names, star powers, gadgets, and gears, used to build guides and tools.
  • Rankings: top players and clubs, global and per brawler.

03 What We Do Not Do

  • We do not scrape other fan sites or trackers for their data.
  • We do not invent or hand-edit win rates to fit a narrative.
  • We do not access any private account information. If it is not in your public Brawl Stars profile, we cannot see it.
  • We do not sell your player data.

04 From Raw Data to What You See

The API gives us raw matches and profiles. The win rates, pick rates, tier ratings, and matchup verdicts on the site are computed by us from that raw data, using the formulas described on our Methodology page. The written analysis on counter and guide pages, and the BrawlScore coaching logic, are our own original work layered on top.
