HOW BRAWLSCORE WORKS
01 The Idea
Most tools tell you what your stats are. BrawlScore is built to answer a more useful question: what should you actually do to win more games?
It reads your recent battles, finds the patterns that are costing you trophies, and turns them into a short, prioritized list of fixes. Think of it less like a scoreboard and more like a coach who watched your last sessions and wrote down the three things to work on next.
02 What It Reads
When you enter your Brawl Stars player tag, BrawlScore pulls your public profile and recent battle log from the official Brawl Stars API (see our methodology). It looks at your real matches: the brawlers you played, the modes and maps, the results, and your in-game performance signals.
No private data is involved. If it is not in your public Brawl Stars profile, BrawlScore does not see it.
03 The Three Pillars
Your rating is built from three pillars, each capturing a different part of what actually decides matches:
Pillar 1
Performance
How well you play the brawler in front of you: damage traded, your survival versus your eliminations, and objective work like carrying gems or dealing safe damage in Heist. Dying less is often worth more than chasing kills, and the score reflects that.
Pillar 2
Draft & Synergy
Whether your picks make sense: choosing brawlers that counter the enemy and fit your teammates, instead of stacking two assassins with no frontline. Good drafting wins games before the first shot, so this pillar rewards smart picks on the right maps.
Pillar 3
Consistency
How stable your results are under pressure: win streaks, avoiding tilt spirals, and keeping performance steady rather than swinging between great and terrible sessions. Climbing is mostly about reducing your bad games, not maximizing your best ones.
04 Your Rating
The three pillars combine into a single BrawlScore rating that summarizes your recent skill in one number. It is deliberately not a trophy count. Trophies measure how much you have played and pushed; BrawlScore measures how well you are playing right now, which is the thing you can change this week.
Because it is based on recent matches, your rating moves as your play moves. Fix a leak and you will usually see it respond.
05 The Improvement Plan
A number alone does not help anyone improve. So the most important output is the improvement plan: a short list of concrete, prioritized actions drawn from your own data. Instead of "get better," it reads more like:
- "You are dying early in Knockout. Play further behind cover and let the trade come to you."
- "You keep picking a C-tier brawler on open maps. Swap to a higher-rated pick for that mode."
- "Your comps stack the same class. Add a controller or support to balance the team."
The plan is ordered by priority, so you always know which single change is most likely to move your results first.
06 How to Use It
- Enter your player tag to generate your BrawlScore and plan.
- Read the top one or two action items before your next session. Do not try to fix everything at once.
- Use the tier list and map pages to act on map and draft advice.
- Check back after a session to see your rating respond and get fresh recommendations.
Steady focus on one or two action items beats a hundred hours of unfocused grinding.
07 Why It Is Not Just a Stat Viewer
A stat viewer shows you the past. BrawlScore tells you what to do next.
The difference is the layer of judgment on top of the data. Anyone can show a win rate. BrawlScore translates your matches into decisions, ranks them by impact, and explains the reasoning, which is the part that actually helps you climb. It is the core of what makes BrawlUp a coaching project rather than a database.
