She is an amplification support whose Super functions both as a zone-control tool and a team damage booster simultaneously. She excels in Gem Grab and Hot Zone where clustered objectives mean teammates are always inside the stellar amplification zone.
Place Starr Nova's stellar field Super on the objective where your team will be fighting rather than on current teammate positions, as moving into the field is easier than moving the field to the fight. The damage amplification compounds with each teammate inside, so use it when all three team members can benefit simultaneously.
