FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Bull is currently S-tier in Brawl Ball with a score of 88/100. As a Tank, Bull absorbs frontline damage and creates space for teammates to push, making it a reliable pick when the meta favors Brawl Ball.
Run Berserker as the default Star Power for Bull — it works in most situations. Switch to Tough Guy on maps that punish your main weakness. For Gadgets, T-Bone Missile is the standard active pick; Stomper is situationally better on specific map types. Speed and Shield Gears are the standard choice.
Bull struggles against Emz and Charlie, who can out-trade Bull at the ranges or map types where Bull is most exposed. On the flip side, Bull consistently beats Piper and Brock.
Bull performs best in Brawl Ball (S-tier, 88/100). The Tank kit — absorbs frontline damage and creates space for teammates to push — is directly rewarded in Brawl Ball, which is why Bull climbs higher here than in other modes. See the mode ratings section for a full breakdown.
Bull pairs best with Poco and Penny. Since Bull absorbs frontline damage and creates space for teammates to push, teammates that cover the opposite role — whether that is frontline presence, healing, or ranged poke — create the most complete comp.
To play Bull well, focus on Brawl Ball where the mode rating is highest, and lean into being a Tank that absorbs frontline damage and creates space for teammates to push. Run Berserker as the core build, track Emz and Charlie on the enemy team, and pair with Poco and Penny when possible.

HOW TO PLAY BULL

Bull fires a wide shotgun blast at close range and charges forward with his Super, dealing massive impact damage and piercing through any brawler in his path. His high health pool and devastating close-range DPS make him one of the best in tight corridors and enclosed Brawl Ball arenas. At long range he is nearly useless, so positioning and map awareness are essential to safely closing distance.

Bull's Super is most effective for entering contested areas through walls rather than chasing low-HP enemies in the open. Combine his Super dash with a full shotgun blast immediately upon arrival to deal enormous burst damage before enemies can react.

PRO TIPS

Tank Game Plan
Position between enemies and your team. Your value comes from soaking damage, not dealing it. Choose Berserker in most situations, switching to Tough Guy on maps where enemies can close distance. Charge your Super passively by staying in fights and engage with it to set up teammates, not to escape.
PRIORITY
Draft Around Counters
Watch for Emz or Charlie. Both T-Bone Missile and Stomper are in your kit — learn which one punishes your counters versus which gives you an escape window. Use your Gadget early rather than saving it for a desperate moment.
MATCHUP
Best Team Shape
Pair Bull with Poco or Penny when possible. Build toward Jaws of Steel in safe positions — it swings fights instantly, so activate it when your team has the edge, not when you are already behind.
