Run Heavy Coffers as the default Star Power for Penny — it works in most situations. Switch to Master Blaster on maps that punish your main weakness. HOW TO PLAY PENNY

Penny fires a gold coin that bounces and hits brawlers standing behind her initial target, making grouped enemies extremely dangerous to face off against her. Her Super summons a mortar cannon that lobs shells unpredictably over walls, providing persistent zone control even when Penny herself is out of position. She is strongest in Heist where her mortar constantly pressures the safe without her needing direct line of sight.

Penny's bouncing attack deals its highest total damage when the primary target has a second brawler lined up directly behind them. Position her mortar Super behind walls on the flank to create a two-angle pressure that forces enemies into the open.

PRO TIPS

Artillery Game Plan
Set up at maximum mortar range and punish enemy clustering. Do not let assassins reach you. Take Heavy Coffers in most situations, switching to Master Blaster on maps where enemies can close distance. Your Gadget is your last resort if the frontline collapses.
PRIORITY
Draft Around Counters
Watch for Leon or Mortis. Both Salty Barrel and Trusty Spyglass are in your kit — learn which one punishes your counters versus which gives you an escape window. Use your Gadget early rather than saving it for a desperate moment.
MATCHUP
Best Team Shape
Pair Penny with Brock or Nani when possible. Build toward New Lobber in safe positions — it swings fights instantly, so activate it when your team has the edge, not when you are already behind.
