HOW TO PLAY MORTIS

Mortis dashes forward with each shovel swing, making his basic attack a series of gap-closing dashes that also deal damage, enabling him to rapidly close on squishy targets while dealing consistent melee pressure. His Super heals him for a large burst of HP by draining the health of up to five nearby enemies, letting him sustain through sustained combat as long as multiple enemies are within range. He is a dominant assassin against supports and healers who rely on sustained HP pools.

Use Mortis's multiple dashes to weave between obstacles and maintain unpredictable movement rather than dashing directly at a target, as the side-to-side movement makes him very difficult to track. Save his healing Super for after taking significant damage rather than immediately, as it provides maximum value against a full set of enemies rather than isolated individuals.
