FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Moe is currently A-tier in Brawl Ball with a score of 80/100. As a Damage Dealer, Moe sustains high damage at mid range and wins straight-up duels, making it a reliable pick when the meta favors Brawl Ball.
Run Skipping Stones as the default Star Power for Moe — it works in most situations. Switch to Speeding Ticket on maps that punish your main weakness. For Gadgets, Dodgy Digging is the standard active pick; Rat Race is situationally better on specific map types. Speed and Shield Gears are the standard choice.
Moe struggles against Piper and Brock, who can out-trade Moe at the ranges or map types where Moe is most exposed. On the flip side, Moe consistently beats Piper and Nani.
Moe performs best in Brawl Ball (A-tier, 80/100). The Damage Dealer kit — sustains high damage at mid range and wins straight-up duels — is directly rewarded in Brawl Ball, which is why Moe climbs higher here than in other modes. See the mode ratings section for a full breakdown.
Moe pairs best with Poco and Gene. Since Moe sustains high damage at mid range and wins straight-up duels, teammates that cover the opposite role — whether that is frontline presence, healing, or ranged poke — create the most complete comp.
To play Moe well, focus on Brawl Ball where the mode rating is highest, and lean into being a Damage Dealer that sustains high damage at mid range and wins straight-up duels. Run Skipping Stones as the core build, track Piper and Brock on the enemy team, and pair with Poco and Gene when possible.

HOW TO PLAY MOE

Moe is a mobile brawler who bounces and drills through the earth, creating unexpected angle attacks that come from below or bypass obstacles entirely. His Underground Super lets him travel beneath the map surface and emerge wherever he aims, appearing behind enemy lines without warning. He is a flanking specialist who generates the most value when opponents are focused on a front engagement.

Use Moe's underground travel to emerge directly behind the enemy team's safest member rather than their tank who expects aggression. Time your emergence to coincide with your team initiating a front attack so that enemies are pulled in two directions simultaneously and cannot adequately respond to either.

PRO TIPS

Damage Dealer Game Plan
Hold mid range and maintain spacing. Advance during the enemy's reload, retreat during your own. Take Skipping Stones in most situations, switching to Speeding Ticket on maps where enemies can close distance. Force trades only when you are at full health.
PRIORITY
Draft Around Counters
Watch for Piper or Brock. Both Dodgy Digging and Rat Race are in your kit — learn which one punishes your counters versus which gives you an escape window. Use your Gadget early rather than saving it for a desperate moment.
MATCHUP
Best Team Shape
Pair Moe with Poco or Gene when possible. Build toward The Big Cheese in safe positions — it swings fights instantly, so activate it when your team has the edge, not when you are already behind.
