Sirius is currently S-tier in Hot Zone with a score of 94/100. As a Controller, Sirius denies zones and controls objective access with area abilities, making it a reliable pick when the meta favors Hot Zone.
Run Dusk Runners as the default Star Power for Sirius — it works in most situations. Switch to The Darkest Starr on maps that punish your main weakness. For Gadgets, A Starr Is Born is the standard active pick; Master of Shadows is situationally better on specific map types. Speed and Shield Gears are the standard choice.
Sirius struggles against Edgar and Mortis, who can out-trade Sirius at the ranges or map types where Sirius is most exposed. On the flip side, Sirius consistently beats Bull and Frank.
Sirius performs best in Hot Zone (S-tier, 94/100). The Controller kit — denies zones and controls objective access with area abilities — is directly rewarded in Hot Zone, which is why Sirius climbs higher here than in other modes. See the mode ratings section for a full breakdown.
Sirius pairs best with Charlie and Emz. Since Sirius denies zones and controls objective access with area abilities, teammates that cover the opposite role — whether that is frontline presence, healing, or ranged poke — create the most complete comp.
To play Sirius well, focus on Hot Zone where the mode rating is highest, and lean into being a Controller that denies zones and controls objective access with area abilities. Run Dusk Runners as the core build, track Edgar and Mortis on the enemy team, and pair with Charlie and Emz when possible.
Sirius is a cosmic guardian who fires dark energy shots and uses his Super to create a reflective barrier that bounces back any projectiles that hit it, using the enemy team's own firepower against them. His reflection mechanic is extremely powerful against high-damage ranged teams. He is most effective against projectile-heavy opponents where the reflected shots can deal enormous total damage.
Place Sirius's reflective barrier perpendicular to the main direction of incoming fire rather than facing the angle that seems most natural, as the reflection should redirect shots toward clustered enemies. Use it proactively when you anticipate a high-damage Super from the enemy team rather than reactively after the Super is already deployed.

Build your Super from safe positions and deploy it on the objective approach route, not reactively. Take Dusk Runners in most situations, switching to The Darkest Starr on maps where enemies can close distance. A Super that wins map control is worth more than one used defensively.
PRIORITY
Draft Around Counters
Watch for Edgar or Mortis. Both A Starr Is Born and Master of Shadows are in your kit — learn which one punishes your counters versus which gives you an escape window. Use your Gadget early rather than saving it for a desperate moment.
MATCHUP
Best Team Shape
Pair Sirius with Charlie or Emz when possible. Build toward Unlimited Power! in safe positions — it swings fights instantly, so activate it when your team has the edge, not when you are already behind.
